- Competitive base salary range from $71 551 - $ 81 458 per annum, plus shift penalties, plus superannuation

About the Role:
Alcohol and Other Drugs Workers (AODWs) at Karralika Programs work as part of a multidisciplinary team, to support individuals and families experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) dependence.
This position will provide support to people with significant AOD issues who are participating in residential treatment within the Karralika Therapeutic Community.
The position will include evening and weekend shifts on a fortnightly roster, and the position is offered as full-time.
The core responsibilities of role are to provide a standard range of services in the delivery of programs under the direction of others including:
- supporting client admission processes,
- transporting clients to activities and appointments,
- supporting clients shopping,
- supporting and facilitating Karralika and partner organisations delivery of programs to our clients
Requirements of the Position:
Essential:
- Working with vulnerable people registration
- Current National Police Check and Drivers Licence
- Experience working with people with complex needs, including alcohol and other drug issues
- Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs, or agreement to complete.
Desirable:
- Experience working within and/or knowledge of the therapeutic community model
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working in the AOD sector and/or a residential based community program
